Information in support of NGC, the gardens of Matzke Park, and our home gardens. A 501c3, Association for Better Community Schools (ABCS), was founded in 1994 and successfully preserved these 20 acres for public use. In 2007 ABCS and Norchester Garden Club (NGC) members developed, and still maintain, the Butterfly Garden. New visitor
Today a lady from Charlottesville, VA stopped by the garden. She is a Master Gardener and she was very impressed. There is usually a nice breeze and it is very relaxing just to sit and enjoy the butterflies.
