Information in support of NGC, the gardens of Matzke Park, and our home gardens. A 501c3, Association for Better Community Schools (ABCS), was founded in 1994 and successfully preserved these 20 acres for public use. In 2007 ABCS and Norchester Garden Club (NGC) members developed, and still maintain, the Butterfly Garden. Oak Tree Borer at Matzke Park
Oak Tree Borer
Note borer results on one of C. Sizer's memorial trees. The borer is a result of the drought and lack of water. Hoping this tree will survive with spraying.
